My name is Henry Gallego and I’m a graduating senior here at the university at Albany.

My area of focus is journalism and film which I’ve studied for 4 years. My interest in the subject was born early in high school where I followed various film festivals and watched film reviews. During the pandemic I was encouraged to make my own content.

​

Within my first year I had my first hit video and built up my audience. The process of becoming a content creator helped me refine the skills I learn in college as well as teach myself new ones. I do extensive research on my topics which I use to create engaging scripts.

I taught myself to record audio and edit footage together professionally. I also stream myself frequently as a way to engage more with my audience.

​

My goal is to take these skills and use them in a professional setting.

​

I’ve done well on my own, but I could do even better as part of a team.
